Trinity Mobile is a specialist supplier of mobile phoned based barcoded mobile coupons and mobile tickets. Trinity also provides bulk messaging, mobile services, mobile marketing, multimedia messages, top mobile phone deal and mobile membership and loyalty schemes.

A barcode embedded within a text message can be used as a mobile ticket, mobile coupon, mobile loyalty card or mobile membership card. The embedded barcode within the text message is displayed on the phones’ screen and is scanned directly off the screen by a specialised barcode scanner (Trinity’s FoneScan™ units). This mobile scanning software reads the mobile barcode, decodes the code and goes through an online (or offline as circumstances require) redemption process. Every barcode is unique so that each one can be tracked and redeemed individually enabling the consumer to redeem their ticket or coupon where and when required. Full reporting is available enabling the promoter or campaign manager to see where, when, who and how coupons or tickets were applied for and redeemed resulting in live campaign management facilities. The campaigns are all managed through Trinity Mobile’s Easy Suite™ desktop solutions. Easy Suite™ enables users to set up, manage and measure all aspects of their mobile campaigns.

Mobile tickets can be purchased via online web or WAP payments pages using credit or debit cards and Paypal or via reverse bill/premium rate processes. Trinity Mobile supplies all of the software and hardware required to run a full mobile ticketing campaign.

Mobile Coupons can be delivered to consumers through a “push” or “pull” campaign. In a “push” campaign a brand or promoter will push out coupons to a pre-existing database of mobile phone numbers (i.e. consumers who have already signed up or opted in to a campaign). In a “Pull” campaign a consumer will text in to a shortcode number in order to receive a mobile coupon having seen or heard a piece of promotional material on the radio, TV, in a paper or on a poster. Again Trinity provides all of the software and hardware required to run coupon campaigns.

Trinity Mobile uses premium connections to the UK mobile phone networks to deliver a high quality service for sending and redeeming tickets and coupons to subscribers. Typically 95% of messages are delivered within the first 5 minutes of broadcasting; 99.5% within the first hour. The company can use efficient mobile technologies such as SMS, enhanced SMS including Nokia Picture messaging and EMS, WAP, and MMS technologies to deliver its barcode ticket or coupon technologies. This allows barcoded tickets or coupons to be sent to the largest range of handsets. Typically statistics show the reach using these technologies is 97.5% of handsets; our most recent ticketing campaign showed barcoded tickets were sent to 99.5% of handsets. All barcoded tickets include a PIN embedded in the text section of the ticket to accommodate those handsets, typically PDAs, that do not support either of the enhanced SMS formats thus reaching 100% of handsets.
